Chris Kilcullen, the VP, Digital Director of H&L Partners which is a full-service advertising agency located in the Central West End neighborhood of St. Louis, will be visiting SIUE’s Campus March 28th. The Mass Communication department is excited to have the Digital Director of H&L Partners, the agency of record for McDonald’s, Missouri Division of Tourism, and Explore St. Louis, speak to members of our campus community.
Chris began his career in digital marketing working as a digital art director for, “Digital Lagoon”, in 1995. He has been more involved with the internet before it struck its household fame. He has created opportunities to design “first” websites, such as the AMC Theatres’ initial website, as well as the first site for Hostess and Garmin.
Now as digital director, Chris’s vision extends to shaping the digital strategies and campaigns for his clients and manages a team of producers, digital creatives, and in-house developers. In his 20+ years leaflet of experience in the digital industry, Chris has worked on even more brands such as Bacardi, Motorola, Splenda, and Maytag, to name a few. Chris, in addition to this directing role also currently, serves as President of the St. Louis Ad Club.
The Greater St. Louis Advertising Club seeks to, “Raise the awareness of the St. Louis advertising community, educate and inspire those that are entering the industry, nurture the ongoing professional development of the St. Louis advertising community, foster camaraderie and support within social and economic sectors, and to celebrate the virtues of the advertising profession”.
Chris will be in to speak with us about his understanding of media convergence, advertising and the industry on his journey over the years. His session titled, “The Media Universe Converges on You. This Time, It’s Personal”, will takeplace Wednesday March 28th from 3:00pm-4:15pm, inside Dunham Hall 2039 (DH 2039)
SIUE’s students and faculty are welcome along with the Edwardsville, Alton, Glen Carbon and nearby communities. He is one of the many wonderful speakers that will bless our campus next week.
