SIUE alum Holly Meyer, a religion reporter for Post-Crescent Media (Wisc.), won first place in the Cassels Religion Reporter of the Year contest. The award was announced at the 2014 Religion Newswriters Association Banquet. During her time at SIUE, Meyer worked as Managing Editor, Online Editor and reporter for the Alestle. Post-Crescent Media is a news service that covers the Appleton, Wisc, area.
