Ms. Kerry Musenbrock (in all black), Mass Comm 2012, the Director of Accounts and Content Strategy at Acumen Studio in Clayton, Mo, spoke in Prof. Musonda Kapatamoyo’s class: MC471- Digital Content Management.
She discussed the evolving role of social media managers in organizations and specifically spoke about digital content management and strategies; how businesses use of web and app analytics for decision making; how students may use social media platforms for self branding and networking.
The students also appreciated how Kerry described the issues surrounding how long online profiles and content stays, and for what use employers and other may use them.
Kerry’s generosity with her time and expertise is emblematic of the SIUE Mass Comm alumni who continue to give back to the department.
