STL Up Late is a live-to-tape multi-camera studio production that includes pre-recorded video elements acquire in both EFP and ENG filmmaking styles. The television show format is a comedy, variety talk series.

Asst. Camera Operators

Camera: Blackmagic Design’s URSA Mini & Cinema Camera

  • Assist in camera build and setup for pedestal, jib, shoulder mount, and motorized 3-axis gimbal applications.
  • Responsible for general camera maintenance and cable management.
  • Acting backup camera operator.

Asst. Video Editor

Software: Adobe CC

  • Logging, editing and packaging video content for broadcast delivery including closed captioning.
  • Package content for online publishing across multiple social media platforms.
  • Manage media assets for file based workflow.

Asst. Audio Engineer

Sound Equipment: Midas M32, various condenser and dynamic wired and wireless microphone systems

Software: Avid Protools, Logic Pro X, Adobe Audition

Assist audio team in live-to-tape audio recoding and sound reinforcement for multi-instrument band and speaking applications.

Production

  • P.A. setup for front of house and monitor sound reinforcement
  • Mic placement and cable management
  • General audio equipment maintenance
  • boom operating for on-location video production

Post-production

  • media management for file-based workflow
  • multi-track mixing for broadcasted musical performances
  • dialog editing and dynamics/equalization processing

Asst. Lighting Designer

Equipment: ETC Element 40, various ETC lighting fixtures

Assisting lighting designer in designing and executing lighting looks for live theater and multi-camera video production applications.

  • Hanging and focusing light fixtures
  • Programming light cues
  • Operating light board
  • General maintenance of lighting equipment
  • cable management

Stagehand

Work closely with stage manager to coordinate scene transitions as it relates to props and production design elements as well as escorting talent on and off the stage.


Prop and Scenic Designer

Work closely with the director to design, build, and curate props and scenic design elements for a weekly production.


Wardrobe

Work closely with director to materialize wardrobe and costume elements for a weekly production.


Hair and Makeup

Responsible for the hair and makeup for on camera talent.
